1 - Co-founder and VP, Layalina Productions Leon is the co-founder, vice president, and treasurer of Layalina Productions in Washington, DC. As a producer of multiple mediums (television, video games, web, print, etc), Leon's goal is to present American ideals to an Arab audience.
2 - Entertainment Coordinator, NBC Universal Kelsey is an Entertainment Coordinator of Current Programming at NBC Universal. Unlike a position in programming development, she works with existing shows in the NBC line-up to build up audience viewership. Kelsey and her team have the final say on edits and creative content for every concept, script and idea that is presented to the networks current programming department.
3 - Entertainment Correspondent, KABC-TV Tony is an Entertainment Correspondent and Producer for "On The Red Carpet", an entertainment news program for KABC-TV in Los Angeles. Tony runs through his role as both a correspondent and a producer, from research and voice-over work in the office to filming at red carpet movie premieres!
4 - Owner of Bigger Picture PR Lacey is the owner of Bigger Picture Public Relations, a full-service boutique agency. She manages a small but mighty team that does everything from social media to email marketing to interacting with media to ensure client coverage. Lacey believes that new graduates need to show they are go-getters and willing to work hard to get to the next level.
5 - Reporter and Anchor, WCIU TV Brandon is a Reporter and Anchor with WCIU TV, an independent television station based out of Chicago, Illinois. Working the morning news broadcast means Brandon's day starts around 4:00 AM (with plenty of coffee). After phone and table meetings with the production team, Brandon prepares both his news pieces for the day's broadcast as well as ideas for upcoming broadcasts. Brandon walks us through the entire process of both in-studio anchoring as well as producing a field piece.
6 - Television Reporter & Journalist (NBC & ABC) Lauren, a television reporter and video journalist for NBC in Fort Meyers, reveals the rigorous life of a reporter and explains why prospective journalists shouldn't get too cozy living in one place.
