Decision-Making

Once you have learned about yourself, and have researched majors and careers, you can start to think about the next steps. Decision-making is the process of identifying and selecting a course of action to solve a specific problem. We understand that making career decisions can sometimes be overwhelming, but you are already a pro at decision-making. Think about how many decisions you make at a restaurant: Table or booth? Appetizer? Salad or soup? Dressing on the side? Meat or vegetarian? Dessert? Wrap it up to go? We make decisions every day throughout our lives. Below is a decision-making model with seven steps.
