Regarding Services Offered During The COVID-19 Pandemic

The Career Development Center is providing online services to support students during the response to COVID-19. The office will remain open through virtual means and we are continuing to serve students through email, Zoom and Blackboard Collaborate meetings, our website, and telephone.

Appointments are available for any career development related matters including but not limited to career decision making and exploration, job or internship search, practice interviews, resume or cover letter reviews, graduate school admissions essays, LinkedIn profiles, and more. Also, you may get immediate attention from a career counselor through Virtual Drop In. Held five days per week, no appointment is necessary and students are served on a first come, first serve basis.

Workshops are now offered virtually for students on a variety of topics that are traditionally offered throughout the semester. We encourage students to utilize the Career Development Center's online and virtual resources. For assistance or to setup a virtual career counseling appointment, please contact us by telephone (716-878-5811) or email (askcdc@buffalostate.edu).

CDC staff have compiled an updated list of websites on who's hiring and not during the COVID-19 pandemic response.
