Connecting with Employers
During the Virtual Luau
for Part-Time Job and Paid Internships
Step 1. On left menu tab, click “Events” and select “Career Fairs.”
Step 2. Select the Event – Virtual Luau for Part-Time Jobs & Paid Internships.
Step 3. Select “Attend” to RSVP for the Event. For an overview of Employers attending the event, you can select “Overview” and “See All.”
Step 4. Choose the organization(s) name from the list of “Employers.”
Step 5. Once you have identified organizations to meet with, choose “Join Queue” to be placed on the Employer’s list.
Step 6. As soon as the Employer is ready to chat, you will receive a notification. Click “Join Chat” to be directed to further meeting instructions. Be mindful that to receive the notification you must remain “in” the fair. Clicking on other links or other parts of the site may result in missing the message and missing the opportunity to connect with an employer!
Step 7. Follow the directions listed under “Video Chat instructions” to be connected with the Employer. Please be advised that companies may use a variety of platforms to meet (Zoom, WebEx, Chime) and that if a link provided is not “clickable,” you may need to copy and paste the URL into a separate tab to access the meeting.
NOTE: Time allotted for each 1:1 meeting varies by Employer and begins as soon as you reach this page.
